Björn Johansson
Björn holds the chair of Professor on Sustainable Production at Industrial and
Materials Science, Production Systems at Chalmers University of Technology
in
Sweden.
He is part of ISO/TC 184/AG 2 - Digital Twin as well as national
efforts
on standardization in connection to ISO/TC 184 (SC1 Industrial cyber and
physical device control, SC4 Industrial data and SC5 Interoperability,
integration, and architectures for enterprise systems and automation
applications).
He has also been part of several standardization efforts as a
guest researcher at NIST in USA, developing standards under ASTM E60 on
manufacturing such as resource characterization and sustainability.
He welcomes
joint projects, industry partnerships and collaborative research for a more
circular sustainable manufacturing industry utilizing digitalization and means.
He has co-authored a book on standards as well as numerous scientific
publications in relation to the developed standards.
